ABOUT

My name is Rob Davis. I am a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. While I've always been active, I never fully appreciated being able-bodied until a degenerative bone disease attacked both of my knees. After seven knee surgeries, I was disappointed in having to rely on doctors to be the gatekeepers of my physical well-being, so I studied joint mechanics, anatomy, and human movement. I focused on basic gymnastics training and calisthenics exercises because of their accessibility and because these modalities combine strength, flexibility, and balance in a holistic way that supports not only the development of muscle control but also tendon strength, joint health, and injury resistance. My body feels light, fluid, and capable. Best of all, my minimalist approach to fitness requires little to no equipment, which allows me and my clients to train wherever we please. I’ve traveled far and wide and spent thousands of dollars gathering knowledge and skills. I’d like to share with you what I’ve learned and help guide you towards your own fitness independence.
